There has been great discussion and controversy over something that has recently been proposed to Canadians. This something is the Kyoto Accord. The Kyoto Accord is a doctrine that was put together to help reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions and therefore reduce the global warming phenomenon. Canada is not in a position financially, economically, and publically to commit to the Kyoto Accord. The basis for the Accord lacks credibility when there is no clear cut evidence of the true cause(s) of global warming. More research had to be done to the causes of global warming.
