the morality of the sport. Later Rainsford has the same argument on a different side with General Zaroff. The end result seemed to be that Rainsford was taught a lesson in the true morality of hunting.
I believe this story was somewhat too far fetched. The chances of Rainsford “hearing” the shots in the distance, finding the estate, and swimming across a whole island were unbelievable. The story seemed more to entertain than to captivate.
