Just imagine if you could not tell a lie for one day. That is exactly what happened to Fletcher Coal in Liar Liar. Max, Fletcher’s son, made a wish that his father would not be able to tell a lie for one day, and it came true; that got me thinking. Telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, would cause major problems for everybody in society today. Think about it,

you are. It really depends on the situation when it is right to tell a lie or not, and that is really up to an individual to figure out. Everyone is taught, “Do not tell a lie or bad things will become of you.” But can you honestly say that you know of one person who hasn’t told a lie. That is why I feel that, “The truth is rarely pure and never simple.”
