…showed last 75 words of 668 total…When he finally kill's the last symbol of any joy she remembers- she snap's. What good would sending the “shell” of a person to punishment do? I think the women serve justice by ending the misery and living death. She has had to endure in her marriage. Is Mrs. Wright guilty of murder, yes, but no more so then he husband who killed her but in a different way. Her punishment was life with him.
