Unfortunately, Wal-Mart’s outrageous prices through bulk buying and passing the lower bulk prices onto patrons forces some traditional “mom and pop” businesses out of the market because of their lack of resources to buy in bulk or compete with Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart’s triumph can only be described as phenomenal triumph of the genius of Sam Walton and his executives.
