What are the Characteristics of Children of Alcoholics?
A lot of research has shown that children of alcoholics have a wide range of characteristics associated with their parents’ drinking habits. Having an alcoholic parent has many long lasting effects on a child. Children of alcoholics are at a greater risk for many behavioral problems. Some problems include addiction to drugs and alcohol, depression, school failure, delinquency, and anxiety. Psychopathology
