Winter is Coming (poem)
Winter is coming;
it's starting to snow.
The colors are falling
and the grass will not grow.
The sky is not blue,
but painted with gray.
The birds are not singing,
but flying away.
The waves on the coast
look ferociously fierce
As they pummel the breakwall
with each pounding pierce.
The cold air will bite
if you stop to stand still;
This harsh winter weather
has potential to kill.
The sky is now roaring

The cold air will bite
if you stop to stand still;
This harsh winter weather

The sky is now roaring
and hailing a shower,
While letting loose winds
at ninty miles per hour.
I strongly suggest
that you stay from the lake
Less you are foolish,
for life youÕll forsake.
