had to help their families, emotionally and physically. They could have lost faith and given up but they were able to keep their religious faith to better themselves. Living in poverty and fearing for their lives gave Anne and Frank the motivation to grasp their lives and strive for all they could get. By keeping their faith they were less lonely in the darks times and did not give in to any thoughts of perishing.
