Born August 14, 1851 in Griffin, Georgia. Came from a very well known family. Received his Doctor of Dental Surgery on March 1, 1872. He immediately opened up a practice in Atlanta. He soon discovered he had contracted tuberculosis. The prognosis gave him a few months to live, which might be extended if he moved to a dry climate. He headed West to Gleenwood Springs.

…showed last 75 words of 1200 total…became very interested in the way people lived back then. I loved to read about the fights, robberies, and the fleeing from the law. So this is why I choose John Henry "Doc" Holliday.
