thinks that this will make John become dependent on her and they will get married. John
ended up cheating on her. Men are definitely more rewarded within a relationship.
Margaret Atwood’s treatment of gender is unequal in many ways. She affirms that
men have the advantage in the relationship, women endure more hardship and men are
more rewarded in relationships.
