How Does Huck Finn’s Character Develop Throughout This Book
Huck Finn’s character develops in “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” in stages throughout the book as his adventures continue throughout the book. Right at first when we are first introduced to Huck Finn he is under the care of Widow Douglas. Huck Finn is shown to hate the clothes he is wearing and everything that Widow Douglas makes Huck Finn do. This shows that

his ways back to what they were at the beginning of the book. He still pretty much has his own ideas about religion, racism, and other ideas and he lets himself be led by Tom Sawyer again. When helping Jim escape he comes up with his own ideas but decides to follow Tom’s ideas instead. All in all however throughout the book Huck matures as he travels down the river searching for his freedom.
