On the other hand, if we assume it will never happen, than the government and other powerful figures have an easier time controlling ill-prepared, naïve minds. We must be aware of what surrounds us and what might become of a powerful government in the age of wires, miniatures, and antennas. We currently live in the land of the free, but for how long? It is the year 2001, but 1984 can still happen.
