but his love for Anne ran much deeper, and this again is shown in “The Sun Rising.” In comparing love to the natural world in “The Sun Rising” Donne say that the sun is the center of everything much like the love of his life, Anne, who was the center of everything in his life. This is why Love was reflected so profoundly throughout his poetry, because most of what he wrote was about her.
