“Mad”
As the generations progress throughout the years, words also progress into different meanings. As I began to think of a word that would fit into this schema, I listened to myself, and others around me talk in conversations. After much debate, I decided to use the word “mad” as a slang word with multiple meanings.
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary has many definitions for the word “mad”. These would include, disordered in mind: insane; a completely

beginning to understand the use of the word and become oriented with those patterns of speech. If the all of the generations in America are able to understand this new meaning for the word “mad”, why can’t if become part of Standard American English? All in all, I believe that the term “mad” is understood by many generations and can become part of the Standard American English, because it is already being used today.
