The Last Emperor was the next movie that I chose two watch. I can remember seeing the movie box on the shelf in the same video store that I still go to since I was a young boy, but for some reason I had never checked it out to view. That was a big mistake. The forbidden city has been turned into a museum where cultural wonderers come to see what it was like to live like an emporer. This was a very well directed movie. The only problem was they spoke in english and not chinese. Subtitles and chinese language would have made the film feel more authentic. All in all it was a very touching film.
