JOHN GODBER'S "BOUNCERS" - SCRIPTED ASSESMENT Bouncers - an ensemble by John Godber portrays lager-swilling lads, lipsticked, lacquered girls, all gyrating to the pulse of the dance floor; whilst out in the freezing cold skulk the ever watchful, ever ready, ever observant yet brutish bouncers - Lucky Eric, Jud, Les and Ralph. …showed last 75 words of 462 total… the beginning of "Bouncers" the lads, girls and bouncers seem happy enough, however as the play progress the audience begin to realise what dreary, tedious little lives they lead. With the Bouncers sitting in the middle of the stage, the record "perfect day", ironically, playing in the background, each character walked offstage, their individual spot lights turned off as they exit; until eventually Luck Eric is the left sitting in the middle by himself.
