The Christian Catacombs Catacombs are underground cemeteries that were used by the Christians form the second to the fifth century to bury their dead. In one picture you can see tow fish with a basket full of loaves on their backs whish is a symbol of the Eucharist. The reason I chose to do my report on the Christian catacombs is that I wanted to know more about how and why the Christians built the catacombs and it was very interesting to me.
