The association between recorded votes and the identity of the voter must be completely unknown within the voting systems, and these are almost impossible in electronic voting. While there is certainly room for improvement in the voting system, electronic voting to me is not the answer. I believe that election reform is an issue that deserves close attention, but we must also be careful against changes that inadvertently create even worse of a problem.
