The 1950's was a time of many changes. A lot of inventions took place in the 50's. The most popular items that we use today were invented in the 50's. I researched famous events, famous people, inventions, fads and fashions, and sports. The cold war was probably the biggest event that happened in the 50's. …showed last 75 words of 363 total…of their important things happened. There were a lot of things that surprised me about this decade. One is that computers were made in this decade. I didn't know that they were created that early. I also didn't know that Artificial hearts were around in the 50's. I wish I could have experienced this decade as a kid. I wish that, because it would be fun to see all the inventions that kids mostly use.
